tending life & death through ritual & practice
Rev. KP Psaki, M.Div (she/her)
Hi beloved. I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister and lifelong seeker of the sacred called to tend to the thresholds of Life & Death through ritual, practice, and community.
I believe that healing is possible, love is transformative, and that all of us - need all of us - to be free.
Forever a student of the unseen world, I was raised Catholic and joined an evangelical Christian community as a teenager before surrendering into the guidance of Buddhism and the practice of Yoga as a young adult. I finally found my institutional home within Unitarian Universalism and currently anchor my personal practices in ancestral connection and Earth-based wisdom.
I welcome your path just as it is. My personal and professional experience across religious and spiritual traditions informs my work - and - I ultimately serve as a companion to the truth unfolding within and around you.
COMMITMENTS
My commitments are not things that I always do successfully - and that’s not the point of orienting around them - it’s more what I try to reconnect to each day. And then try again the next day.
LOVE
I commit to Love. To listening for, receiving, creating and co-creating Love.
BEAUTY
I commit to Beauty. Beauty is everywhere longing to be witnessed and taken in. Life is full of pain and suffering, Life is also full of Beauty.
COLLECTIVE LIBERATION & COMMUNITY
I commit to building communities of belonging and resilience that center truth, justice and liberation - to doing my part alongside other co-creators to tend our collective soul. (And bringing people together around a table for a shared meal as much as possible in the doing of it.)
QUEERNESS
I commit to Queerness, as in, I commit to the full flourishing of all life just as it is and seek and choose pathways on the edge to get there.
ANCESTORS & SPIRIT
I commit to staying connected to the ancestors - to my ancestors - and to Spirit. Spirit - as in - that which holds all, which I sometimes call Water, Love, the Sacred, Holy and even God.
